REFUND POLICY

 

 

Withdrawing Before the Season Begins

If you withdraw before the season begins, tuition will be refunded. The Registration Fee is non-refundable. Customers may elect to receive a credit to their dance account instead.

Please note:

  • We offer full refunds (minus classes taken, based on pro-rated rate) if we cancel a class or move a class to a day/time the student cannot attend.
  • The Registration Fee is non-refundable.

Withdrawing After the Season Begins

If you withdraw after the season begins, tuition will be refunded (minus classes taken, based on a pro-rated rate).

Please note:

  • In order to receive a refund, you must communicate your intention to withdraw to The Dance Center.
  • The pro-rated refund will be calculated from the date notice of withdrawal is received, not the last class taken by the student.

Costume Refunds

The costume deposit is non-refundable. The balance of the costume fee may be refundable under certain conditions.

Please note:

  • If an instructor decides that students will be responsible for purchasing their own costumes, costume deposits and payments will be credited to the account or refunded.
  • If a student withdraws from classes or notifies the instructor/The Dance Center that they will not be participating in the recital prior to costumes being ordered, the balance of the costume fee will be credited to the account or refunded.
  • Once costumes are ordered, costume fees cannot be refunded.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
