Summer Dance Intensive

Summer Dance Intensives are designed to expose students to the disciplined beauty of classical ballet, modern, pointe, variations, and hip hop. We emphasize proper body alignment as well as strengthening and stretching. Summer Intensives are a great opportunity for accelerated growth as a budding technician in the art form of dance.

Summer Intensive performance at Donald M. Gay Performing Arts Center (ELHS), Saturday July 25th at 5:00 PM.

Dancer’s participating in Summer Intensive will have the opportunity to perform on Saturday, July 25th at 5:00 PM at DMG.

Pointe experience not required to participate and male dancers will work on variations during pointe and variations class.

  • Weekly Rate – $205  (all fees included in price)

ages and Levels for intensive
  • Students will be split into separate groups based upon age and level.
  • Level 3 – 11-15 year
  • Level 4 – This level is based upon skill level and ability, not age
What to bring for Summer Intensive:
  • Two snacks, lunch, and plenty of water or other forms of hydration.
  • Female Dancers- Leotard, tights or shorts, pink canvas ballet slippers, pointe shoes (if applicable), clean sneakers, and comfortable dance attire for modern, Jazz and Hip Hop.
  • Male Dancers- White fitted shirt, male ballet tights, black canvas ballet slippers, clean sneakers and comfortable dance attire for modern, jazz, and hip hop.
  • The Studios can be very warm during the summer months, plan accordingly when choosing dance attire.
